About the role
You will drive regional night routes supplying supermarkets across the Ruhr area before they open. Most stores use unattended night drop procedures, so you unload the goods into a secure area with your own key or access code. A route usually has three to five stores. Night supplements are part of the pay terms. You work in a team of night drivers and report to the night planner at the distribution centre.
What you’ll do
- Drive regional routes to supermarkets during night hours
- Unload roll cages and pallets with the tail lift
- Follow unattended night drop and store security procedures
- Collect empties and return equipment to the distribution centre
- Carry out vehicle checks before and after each shift
- Report incidents and delays to the night planner
What you’ll bring
- Valid CE driving licence and Code 95
- At least 2 years of CE driving experience
- Comfortable with permanent night work
- Basic German
- Clean criminal record certificate (required for store access)
Pay & working arrangements
- Pay
- From €20.50 per hour, gross, plus night supplements
- Working pattern
- Permanent night shifts, 5 nights a week, about 22:00 to 06:30
- Contract
- Full-time, 12-month contract with the option to extend
