About the role
You will deliver palletised goods and parcels to shops, workshops and offices on fixed local routes around Cologne. Each shift starts at the depot, where you load the truck in delivery order and check the paperwork. Most routes have between 12 and 20 stops and use a 7.5 or 12-tonne truck with a tail lift. You work in a team of around 15 local drivers and report to a depot supervisor. Every shift ends back at the depot, so there are no nights away.
What you’ll do
- Load the truck in delivery order and check goods against the delivery list
- Drive planned local routes and keep to agreed delivery times
- Unload with a tail lift and hand pallet truck
- Hand over goods, collect signatures and record deliveries on a handheld device
- Collect returns and empty pallets from customers
- Carry out the daily vehicle check and keep the cab and load area clean
What you’ll bring
- Valid C or CE driving licence and Code 95
- At least 1 year of experience in delivery or distribution driving
- Basic German for communication with customers
- Able to lift and move goods up to 25 kg
- Polite and reliable manner with customers
Pay & working arrangements

- From €16 per hour, gross
- Working pattern
- Day shifts, Monday to Friday, starting between 06:00 and 07:00
