About the role

At this cross-dock site, goods arrive and leave on the same day, so fast and careful handling is essential. You will move pallets between trailers, staging lanes and short-term storage using a counterbalance forklift. Each shift starts with a short briefing and a clear loading plan from the shift coordinator. The site has around 40 dock doors and a team of 12 forklift operators per shift. This role suits an experienced driver who works safely and keeps to planned times.

What you’ll do

  • Load and unload trailers with a counterbalance forklift
  • Move pallets between dock doors, staging lanes and storage
  • Carry out daily pre-use checks on the forklift
  • Scan pallets and record movements with a handheld scanner
  • Check load security and report damaged goods
  • Follow site traffic rules and loading plans

What you’ll bring

  • Valid counterbalance forklift certificate
  • At least 2 years of recent forklift experience
  • Basic English, Dutch or French for safety instructions
  • Willingness to work a two-shift rota
  • Valid EU passport or ID card, or a valid Belgian work permit
