About the role
You will drive refrigerated long-haul routes carrying fresh produce, flowers and chilled goods from the Venlo area to Germany, Scandinavia, Austria and Italy. Temperature monitoring is part of every trip, and the refrigeration data is checked remotely by the planning team. Trips usually last five days, with weekends at home or at the base. The company runs a large fleet of modern refrigerated combinations. You report to a fixed planner who knows your routes.
What you’ll do
- Drive refrigerated long-distance routes
- Pre-cool the trailer and set the correct temperature before loading
- Monitor load temperatures and keep temperature records
- Carry out daily vehicle and refrigeration unit checks
- Handle delivery and CMR documents
- Plan breaks and rest periods in line with EU driving-time rules
What you’ll bring
- Valid CE driving licence and Code 95
- At least 2 years of long-haul experience
- Personal digital tachograph card
- Basic English, Dutch or German
- Experience with refrigerated transport is an advantage
Pay & working arrangements
- Pay
- From €20 per hour, gross, plus expense allowance for nights away
- Working pattern
- Monday to Friday trips, weekends off

- Full-time, 12-month contract with the option to extend
