About the role
You will deliver chilled and dry food products to restaurants, school canteens and care homes on fixed local routes around Lyon. The vehicle is a refrigerated rigid truck with a tail lift. Shifts start early in the morning so that customers receive goods before lunch service. A route usually has 10 to 18 stops, and you return to the depot by early afternoon. Keeping the cold chain intact is an important part of the job.
What you’ll do
- Load and check orders at the depot before departure
- Deliver to customers within agreed time windows
- Keep chilled products at the correct temperature and record readings
- Unload with a tail lift and roll cages
- Collect signatures and handle returns or missing items
- Carry out daily vehicle checks
What you’ll bring
- Valid C driving licence and FIMO or FCO (Code 95)
- At least 1 year of delivery experience
- Basic French
- Comfortable with early morning starts
- Able to lift and move goods up to 25 kg
