About the role
You will drive refrigerated combinations carrying chilled and frozen food between producers, cold stores and retail distribution centres. Routes cover Poland and neighbouring countries, mainly Germany and the Czech Republic. Most trips last one to two weeks. Temperature monitoring is part of every trip, and the refrigeration unit data is checked by the planning team. The fleet consists of modern tractor units with refrigerated trailers that are serviced regularly.
What you’ll do
- Drive refrigerated combinations on planned domestic and cross-border routes
- Set, monitor and record load temperatures during each trip
- Check seals, pallets and delivery documents at loading and unloading
- Keep the trailer clean and meet food hygiene requirements
- Report faults on the vehicle or refrigeration unit promptly
- Keep tachograph and delivery records accurate
What you’ll bring
- Valid CE driving licence and Code 95
- At least 2 years of CE driving experience
- Personal digital tachograph card
- Experience with refrigerated transport is an advantage
- Polish or English for communication with planners
Pay & working arrangements
- Pay
- From 9,500 PLN per month, gross, plus daily allowances
- Working pattern
- 1 to 2 week trips, followed by days off at home
