About the role
This role is for drivers who have recently obtained a CE licence and want to build practical experience. You will start on shorter regional routes within Latvia, delivering palletised goods to warehouses and shops. During the first weeks you drive together with a senior driver, who shows you coupling, load securing and delivery procedures. After the training period you drive alone on regional routes and return to Riga most evenings. Drivers who perform well can move on to international routes later.
What you’ll do
- Drive regional routes, first together with and then without a senior driver
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects
- Help with loading checks and secure the cargo correctly
- Couple and uncouple trailers safely
- Complete delivery notes and tachograph records
What you’ll bring
- Valid CE driving licence and Code 95 (recently obtained is fine)
- Personal digital tachograph card
- Latvian, Russian or English for daily communication
- Willing to learn and follow safety rules
- Right to work in Latvia
