Scope

Electrical works for automated storage and buffer systems: racking, stacker cranes, conveyors, automation, lighting and building services. The crew installed and connected the storage and conveyor equipment supporting in-sequence body delivery.

Challenge

A central car-body store had to deliver bodies in sequence between body shop, paint shop and assembly, so the automated storage and conveyor systems had to integrate precisely with the plant’s production rhythm.
